Rubiks Cube Vocabulary
U or Up face: The face on the top of the cube.
F or Front face: The face on the top of the cube.
B or Back face: The back face of the cube.
R or Right face: The right face of the cube.
D or Down face: The face on the bottom of the cube.
I or inverted: Inverted means you turn whichever face is mentioned counter clockwise.
Example: Ri Di R D
For this algorithm you would turn the right face counter clockwise, the down face counter clockwise, the right face clockwise and the down face clockwise.
Square: One individual piece of the Rubik's cube. The square is composed of stickers.
Sticker: One color on a square of the Rubiks cube.
